If you have any questions about the application procedure please email Nick Kaplony by Monday 8 July. We may not be able to respond to questions after this date in time for the application deadline. While we will do our best to respond quickly, our staff team work part-time and may not always be in the office to reply to queries at short notice.

The form must be completed at one time: we recommend that you draft your application separately and paste it into the online application form below when complete.

  • Please write a short paragraph describing your practice (maximum 250 words)
  • Please outline what specific items or aspects of the Conway Hall Humanist Library you are interested. How do these relate to the concerns of your practice? (maximum 500 words)
  • How would you benefit from getting this residency at this stage in your practice and career? (maximum 500 words)
  • Please upload your CV in a Microsoft Word or PDF format (maximum 2MB)
    Accepted file types: pdf, doc, docx.
  • Please upload up to five images of your work.

    Number each image and ensure the file names include title of work, year, medium and dimensions

    Upload JPEGs only, with each individual file no larger than 1MB

    If you are submitting video or audio, upload a still (not required for audio work) and provide a link in the following fields to the relevant piece on your website or other platform
