Why Your Past Is Present In Our Future

Why Your Past Is Present In Our Future is an online micro-commissioning initiative intended to support five early-career artists (those working for more than 2 years) through the uncertainty of the current moment with grants of £250 each. This programme from The Ballad of Peckham Rye is intended for artists to begin to speculate on what the future might look like. Pandemics have played a role in shaping human history throughout the ages – crises and disasters have continually set the stage for radical change. Open to artists anywhere in the UK working in any medium. Deadline for proposals: 21 June 2020 at midnight.
